Combatives Musashi Samurai MMA Club Shirt
Miyamoto Musashi is the Kensai (sword saint) of Japan. He is widely regarded as the greatest Samurai to ever live, and killed between 70 and 120 men in duels.
His book of strategy,
The Book of Five Rings, is to the individual warrior what Sun Tzu's
The Art of War is to the field commander. Musashi was chronicled in the Eiji Yoshikawa's quasi-historical novel
Musashi.
Among his most fabled accomplishments according to Japanese legend:
1) When outnumbered more than 30:1 in an assassination attempt, he instinctively pulled his short sword and began fighting two-handed, killing enough men in a matter of seconds that the others retreated in fear. This technique became the standard among Samurai.
2) He defeated the only man who he ever deemed his equal, Kojiro, by braining him with a blunt stick as Kojiro attacked him with his katana. To ensure his opponent was enraged and not properly prepared, Musashi showed up for the fight hours late and taunted his opponent to generate his uncharacteristically aggressive attack.
Musashi would never fight again after killing Kojiro.
