We don't make the laws. We don't get to decide what's right and what's wrong. We don't get to decide which criminals walk and which criminals pay. We don't even get to decide which wars to fight. But in our absence none of that matters. We are the consequence. While everyone else points and talks about how wrong or sad everything is, the murders, the rapes, the robberies, the gangs, or the genocide and jihad abroad, we are the ones that walk into the lion?s den and walk out with the lion's mane. In the last analysis, the peace of society is obtained by force. We are that force. We don't make the laws. We just balance the scales.
