THE GATHERING OF EAGLES FOUNDATION

The Gathering of Eagles Foundation (GOEF) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  Each year with the support of generous corporate sponsors, community partners, and individual donors, the GOEF supports the Alabama ‘River Region’ through scholarship and outreach programs, while also working with the Air University’s Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) by selecting and honoring Air and Space Heroes and Innovators (Eagles).  To preserve these Eagles’ legacies, the GOEF funds research, planning, promotion, and connects Eagles with the local community through events and speaking engagements.

The Foundation aims to build a new generation of leaders through community outreach and the GOE Future Eagles Scholarship Program. Last year, the Foundation funded scholarships to the National Flight Academy, Space Academy, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps students. It helped activate a Civil Air Patrol unit at Goodwyn Middle School in Montgomery, Alabama. The GOEF also works with the Brantwood children’s Home and Helping Our Public Education Systems (HOPES) organization. Business sponsorships and private donations provide funds for these programs.

The GOEF is excited to partner with RangerUp to honor 70 years of air & space history, serve local communities, and inspire future leaders in science, technology, engineering, math, and aviation.
