Of those who die in combat, Odin will choose half to be led by Valkyries to Asgard where they will enter the great hall of Valhalla. There they will join the other Einherjar and feast to their fill, enjoying never-ending Mead as they prepare for the Ragnarök.
As with other warrior cultures, the military and law enforcement communities have adopted this, and many other old-world religious and mythical traditions to give our fallen a meaningful farewell until we meet again. Unlike many other traditions, however, Valhalla is reserved for those who gave their lives in battle and thus holds special meaning and reverence to those this “farewell” is bestowed upon.

Wore this to the gym. Yes a fat man hits the gym. This shirt is light, comfortable, cool, and wicks moisture. It actually has an exertion gage built into the shirt. As you work out, the shirt turns from Grey to dark Grey. The harder the work out, the darker Grey, unless you cheat and head to the sauna. Had several people ask me the meaning of the shirt. Good for engaging others as a missionary for Odin. I found it hard to engage in missionary work as the LDS does. No one wants to answer the door for one carrying an Axe and bottle of mead dressed in furs. Have had to explain to police how I was exercising my freedom of religion. This shirt helps. Very much worth the amount spent.
